• She grew up on 44th Avenue Lachine, Quebec along  with 5 other siblings.  You never saw such a close knit family as "The Benisons"  .  Herbert was the eldest, followed by Constance, Ross , Milton, Joyce, And the baby was Helen.

• Joyce lived in only 2 places ..Lachine , Quebec till 1970, then she and her husband Charlie(below) moved their family to Kanata, Ontario.  They raised seven wonderful children  (if i may so myself)

• Joyce might have had a few nick names in her time...."J.B." or "Blue Eyes"  are two I frequently heard

• What a GREAT memory for birthdays, anniversaries, etc etc Joyce had !!! and not only for her immediate family but many of the extended ones as well. 

one great thing about knowledge in life, about experience, about maturity, about time, about getting older ....... is knowing what YOU stand for ...what you BELIEVE in 

Joyce stood for and always believed in her FAMILY  ... there is no stronger bond than blood .
